Malkangiri, July 15 [UDN}: Mr. Mahmood Ahmad, Additional Secretary of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and the Central Nodal Officer, visited Malkangiri district and reviewed the progress of various development projects. During his visit, he inspected the Chitrakonda Sub-Divisional Hospital, the Centre of Excellence, Anganwadi Centres, and the Mega Piped Water Supply Project, among other initiatives.

At the “Prayas” social sector review meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg assessed the implementation and progress of key programmes related to health, education, nutrition, and TB elimination.

The number of beneficiaries under the Subhadra Scheme is set to rise further as 3.17 lakh new applications have been registered for inclusion in the programme.

Koraput District Collector chaired a meeting to assess the functioning and evaluation of the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) serving the District Headquarters Hospital, Jeypore, and SLN Medical College and Hospital.

With the aim of promoting local entrepreneurship, efforts are being made in Nabarangpur to link business owners with Postal Department services for greater market reach and growth opportunities.
