Nabarangpur, Aug 12 [UDN}: A grand district-level celebration of “Har Ghar Tiranga” and the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram” was organised in Nabarangpur town on Monday with immense enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and active participation from people across different sections of society.
As part of the celebrations, a massive Tiranga rally, accompanied by a series of cultural and patriotic programmes, was organised in the district headquarters. More than 5,000 people participated in the event, making it a spectacular display of national pride, unity and respect for the country’s freedom struggle.
The programme began at around 7:30 AM at Dr. Sadashiva Park, located near the Nabarangpur Municipality. Hon’ble School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond attended the programme as the chief guest. He first paid floral tribute to the statue of eminent freedom fighter and former Chief Minister Late Sadashiva Tripathy and subsequently flagged off the massive Tiranga rally.
