Brahmapur , April. 27: Railway Station is set for a major makeover under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, with an estimated investment of around ₹300 crore.
Handling more than 162 trains daily and catering to nearly 25,000 passengers, the station will undergo significant expansion as per the redevelopment plan. According to officials of East Coast Railway, the project includes the addition of three new railway lines and four new platforms.
This expansion is expected to streamline train operations, including smoother arrivals and departures, while also enhancing passenger convenience and overall infrastructure at the station.
