Anandapur , April 14: On the second day of his visit to Keonjhar district, the Chief Minister arrived in Anandapur and attended various meetings while inaugurating several projects.
In the afternoon, he landed by helicopter near Balarampur village in Ghasipura block and travelled by road to reach the Kushaleshwar Temple in Deogaon. He was given a grand welcome by the temple administration. The Chief Minister offered prayers at the temple and performed a circumambulation.
Later, he attended the platinum jubilee celebration of Kushaleshwar PM SHRI Government High School in Deogaon as the chief guest. He stated that although the 75-year-old school faces several challenges, it will be developed into a model school.
He also approved ₹3.07 crore for the overall development of the 9th-century Kushaleshwar Temple, originally built by King Jajati Keshari.
Afterwards, he inaugurated a newly constructed overbridge near Salapada on the National Highway and participated in the valedictory ceremony of the Anandapur Mahotsav. He also inaugurated various projects worth ₹37 crore through virtual mode.
The Chief Minister said on the stage of the festival that Anandapur has a bright future ahead.
