Koraput, June 24 {UDN}: Koraput town and its surrounding areas were soaked in a gentle drizzle today as the monsoon finally arrived in the region. While the sky remained overcast since morning, light rainfall that began in the afternoon made the atmosphere cooler, fresher, and more pleasant.
After enduring several days of intense heat and uncomfortable humidity, the arrival of the monsoon has brought much-needed relief to residents. Rain-washed hills, lush green landscapes, and the misty surroundings have further enhanced the natural beauty of Koraput, making the picturesque region even more captivating.
Farmers have also welcomed the rainfall, describing it as a positive sign for the upcoming agricultural season. They believe the timely monsoon showers will help accelerate farming activities and provide favorable conditions for cultivation in the district.
