Nabarangpur,21st Aug 2025: With the joint initiative of Sambad – Ama Odisha and Nabarangpur College of Nursing, a mega blood donation camp will be organized tomorrow, on 18th August, at the Nursing College located near Majhiguda Chhak.
Ahead of the event, a preparatory meeting and awareness programme was held under the chairmanship of Principal Sukanta Kumar Satapathy.
Attending the programme were Sambad Sahityaghara Editor and Chief Coordinator of Nabarangpur District Youth Red Cross, Akhil Bhatt, and Senior Technician of Nabarangpur Blood Bank, Arun Swain. They addressed the students on the importance and necessity of voluntary blood donation, highlighting that “blood donation is life donation”.
Both speakers motivated the students to participate actively in the Blood Donation – Life Donation Movement and answered their queries.
At the beginning of the event, Sambad’s Nabarangpur District Correspondent Suresh Kumar Naidu shared introductory information. The programme was coordinated with the support of faculty members Chumki Mandal, Sujata Bagh, and Kashi Bishwanath Rath.
