Nabarangpur, Oct 7 [UDN}:A cattle infertility eradication camp was organised at Aam Gaon Fataki by the Mobile Veterinary Unit of the Nabarangpur District Veterinary Department.
During the camp, villagers were sensitised about artificial insemination (AI) and the use of sex-sorted semen to improve reproductive outcomes in cattle and promote better livestock breeding practices.
The initiative aimed to create greater awareness among farmers about scientific cattle breeding and modern animal husbandry techniques. Such awareness programmes are considered important for strengthening dairy farming, improving cattle productivity and empowering livestock owners with better knowledge and access to veterinary services.
The programme also highlighted the importance of adopting modern reproductive technologies for sustainable livestock development and improving the livelihoods of rural cattle farmers.
