Nandapur Development Projects Come Under Review as Koraput District Collector Conducts Field Inspection of Ongoing Works

Koraput, Sept 11 [UDN}:During his visit to Nandapur Block in Koraput district, the District Collector conducted an extensive inspection of various ongoing development projects and government institutions across the area.

At Kulabir, the Collector inspected an agricultural solar power project, the Gram Panchayat building currently under construction, and the Gram Panchayat-level Federation office. He also visited an Anganwadi Centre and reviewed the facilities and services being provided there.

At Paduwa, the Collector visited the Government High School and interacted with students to learn about their educational experience, classroom facilities, academic needs and other issues. He also took stock of the overall functioning of the institution.

During the visit to Chatua, the Collector inspected a coffee nursery and reviewed the progress and potential of coffee cultivation in the region. He also visited the Revenue Inspector’s office under construction and assessed the status of the ongoing work.

The Collector further visited an Arogya Mandir to review healthcare facilities and services available to the local population. He also inspected black turmeric cultivation, an emerging agricultural activity with potential to provide additional livelihood opportunities to local farmers.

During the field visit, the Collector interacted with members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and discussed their activities, livelihoods, agricultural initiatives and various challenges they face. The visit focused on reviewing the implementation of development programmes at the grassroots level and ensuring that government schemes and public services are reaching local communities effectively.
