Nandapur–Lamtaput Witness Formation of Contractors’ Association to Address Industry Issues

Lamtaput : May 04:A new contractors’ association named “Batrish Singhasan Contractors’ Association” has been formed by A, B, and C category contractors from Nandapur and Lamtaput blocks of Koraput district.
The association was constituted during a meeting held at the Works Department Dak Bungalow premises under the guidance of senior contractors Simanchal Choudhury and Ashok Sahu.
In the newly formed body:
Santosh Sahu from Nandapur block has been elected as President.
Hari Haribandhu Khara from Lamtaput block has been appointed as Secretary.
Tarun Kumar Choudhury has been selected as Vice-President.
Bhavani Shankar Adari has been appointed as Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer.
Additionally, members for the Advisory Committee, Legal Advisory Committee, Executive Committee, Peace Committee, and Action Committee were unanimously selected.
All office bearers pledged to work with a united spirit for the welfare of the association.
The association aims to address issues faced by contractors during the execution of various development projects in Nandapur and Lamtaput areas, ensure transparency in the tender process, and present the legitimate demands of contractors before government authorities.
More than 70 registered contractors from both blocks participated in the meeting.
