Bhubaneswar, May 04: The world-famous Rath Yatra is scheduled to be held on July 16. So far, three preparatory meetings have already been completed, and today the fourth round of the preparation meeting was conducted.
The meeting was chaired by the Chief Secretary, where officials reviewed the progress of arrangements for the upcoming festival. The Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, the Chief Administrator of Jagannath Temple, the Principal Secretary of the Law Department, along with the District Collector and SP of Puri were present.
During the meeting, strict instructions were issued to all concerned departments to complete every aspect of preparation well in advance. Emphasis was laid on ensuring smooth coordination, safety, crowd management, and proper facilities for devotees attending the grand festival.
