Koraput , Aug 17 [UDN}:A district-level meeting of the Narco Coordination Centre was held today under the chairmanship of the Koraput District Collector. The meeting was attended by the Superintendent of Police, along with senior officials from various concerned departments.
The meeting focused on strengthening coordination among the departments and reviewing measures related to the prevention and control of narcotic drugs and substance abuse in the district. Officials discussed the need for coordinated action, effective monitoring, awareness initiatives, and strict enforcement to curb the illegal trafficking and use of narcotic substances.
The District Collector emphasized the importance of close coordination among all concerned agencies to ensure effective implementation of anti-narcotics measures and to safeguard the community from the harmful effects of drug abuse.
