Bhubaneswar, July 30 UDN}: On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces. He saluted their valour, courage, and supreme sacrifice, saying that the nation would always remain indebted to the Kargil warriors. Their sacrifice for the country can never be forgotten.
136th Episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’
Addressing the people of the country, the Prime Minister further said, “There are certain dates in our lives that we do not need to look at a calendar to remember. July 26 is one such date. Today is Kargil Vijay Diwas. This day fills us with a sense of pride. It reminds us of the extraordinary courage and valour of our brave soldiers.
Our soldiers faced every obstacle posed by the high peaks of Kargil, harsh weather conditions, and the challenges posed by the enemy. Yet, their determination was greater than every challenge. They sacrificed everything for the protection of Mother India. On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, I pay my heartfelt tribute to all our brave martyrs and courageous soldiers.”
New Delhi: The 136th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, was broadcast today. On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Modi remembered the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
Addressing the people of the country, Modi said that Kargil Vijay Diwas fills every Indian heart with a sense of pride. The day reminds the nation of the unwavering courage and valour of the brave soldiers who defended the country.
Rajnath Singh Issues Strong Warning to Pakistan
Ladakh: On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Kargil War Memorial at Dras and paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the nation.
Issuing a strong warning to Pakistan, Rajnath Singh said that there would now be discussions only on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and no other issue.
He said that Pakistan had illegally occupied Indian territory and that it would have to vacate the land.
He further stated that Operation Sindoor had demonstrated the consequences for those involved in terrorism. He warned that every misadventure by Pakistan would be met with such a response that it would not even be able to imagine.
Meanwhile, while paying tribute to the Kargil martyrs, the Defence Minister said that future generations would draw inspiration from the stories of the bravery and valour of the Kargil heroes.
He saluted the nation’s courageous soldiers and their bravery. He also said that the victory in Kargil was like a diamond embedded in the crown of Mother India.
