National Deworming Day Campaign Raises Awareness About Regular Deworming and the Importance of Maintaining Good Hygiene Among Children

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 13 [UDN}:Odisha will observe National Deworming Day on August 10. Ahead of the programme, the Directorate of Family Welfare, Health & Family Welfare Department, in collaboration with UNICEF, organised a media briefing to create awareness about the initiative.
Officials provided detailed information on preparations, programme activities and the importance of deworming for children. Senior officials from Child Health, Nutrition and Immunisation, along with UNICEF representatives, attended the briefing.
