Nayagarh, June 17: On the occasion of its 19th annual celebration, Art Point organized a musical program titled “An Evening of Sweet Melodies” at the local Journalists’ Bhavan in Nayagarh.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of chief guest Harish Pradhan, a noted lyricist, while Pradeep Prakash Acharya attended as the inaugurator and Dr. Gitanjali Mahapatra graced the occasion as the guest of honor.
Several talented singers from Nayagarh participated in the program, including Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, Bhumika Mahapatra, Rajib Mahapatra, Bijayananda Mahapatra, Ipsita, Srushti Shobhita, and Sanu, Principal of Bansidhar Music College. They enthralled the audience with performances of popular old melodies and modern songs.
The program was compered by Sasmita Rani Dash, while Ranjan Rashmi Jena and Sheikh Abdul Khaliq extended their support in organizing the event.
At the conclusion of the program, Bijayananda Mahapatra, the chief organizer of the institution, delivered the vote of thanks.
