The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, also known as NRI Day, is celebrated every two years to honor the contributions of the Indian diaspora and to further promote connections between India and its overseas citizens. The day serves as a platform to foster greater engagement, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation with Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and People of Indian Origin (PIOs) around the world. The launch of this new website marks an important step in facilitating enhanced communication and services for the global Indian community.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is held biennially and serves as an excellent platform to strengthen ties between India and its overseas diaspora. It provides opportunities to engage with and promote friendly relations with Indian nationals living abroad, ensuring closer cultural, social, and economic connections.
