Newly Elected Primary Teachers’ Association Members Sworn In, Vow to Strengthen Education, Support Teachers and Contribute to the Overall Development of Schools

Malkangiri, Aug 17 [UDN}: The election of the Primary Teachers’ Association of Malkangiri district was successfully held at the District Primary Teachers’ Federation Bhavan. The election and constitutional meeting were conducted in the presence of several senior teachers’ leaders and representatives from different districts.

State President of the Utkal Federation, Odisha, Ramani Ranjan Tripathy, attended the programme as the chief guest, while Bala Padhi delivered the keynote address. State General Secretary Jyoti Ranjan Dash was present as the distinguished guest. Other guests included Ganjam district president Sarathi Patra, Khordha secretary Kameshwar Mallik, Nayagarh president Bhakta Mishra, teacher leader Niladri Bhushan Dash, advisers Narayan Bhol and Prakash Pattnaik, Nabarangpur district president Sanant Praharaj, and State Vice-President Ranjit Nayak.

Representatives and block-level office-bearers representing teachers from Classes I to VIII participated in the constitutional meeting and election process. The newly elected office-bearers include Tarak Mandal as President, Sadhana Mandal as Vice-President, Duryodhan Sethi as Vice-President, Damodar Sahu as General Secretary, Sheshadeb Pradhan as Organisation Secretary, Harishchandra Katabaral and Sanjit Sahu as Joint Secretaries, Manoranjan Dora as Treasurer, and Rishichandra Kar and Susen Sanjay Raising as Coordinators.

Following their election, the newly appointed members took an oath in the presence of all participants. They pledged to uphold the dignity and self-respect of Malkangiri, a land known for its history of sacrifice, and work collectively for the development of education, teachers and educational institutions across the district.

The newly elected team expressed its commitment to strengthening the teachers’ community, addressing issues affecting educators and contributing to the overall improvement of the education system in Malkangiri.
