Gobindpur,Sept 9 [UDN}: Farmer Abdullah from Gobindpur in Niali has taken up hybrid brinjal (eggplant) cultivation on his farmland. He planted F-1 variety brinjal seedlings in his field, expecting better productivity and quality produce. Hybrid seeds of varieties such as F-1 and 801 are currently available in the market and are being used by farmers for commercial cultivation.
The F-1 hybrid brinjal has shown higher yields and produces large-sized fruits, making it an attractive option for farmers looking to increase both production and market returns.
