31st April 2025: Odia culture, rich in language, literature, art, and heritage, celebrates its identity through various traditions and customs. This year, the government has announced the observance of Odia New Year (Pana Sankranti) from April 1 to 14, starting from Odisha Day, which marks the formation of the state.

This celebration, which coincides with the Maha Vishuba Sankranti, will honor the Odia New Year and the Odia tradition.
