Bhubaneswar, July 4 {UDN}: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has entrusted 10 senior IAS officers with key responsibilities for the special revision of the electoral rolls in Odisha. The initiative aims to ensure that the voter list is accurate, transparent, and up to date.
The officers will supervise the revision process across different districts and monitor its smooth implementation.
The exercise will focus on adding eligible new voters, removing duplicate or ineligible entries, and correcting existing records.
The ECI has directed officials to complete the process within the prescribed timeline while maintaining fairness and transparency.
This special revision is expected to strengthen the electoral process and ensure free, fair, and credible elections in the state.
