New Delhi Sept 18 [UDN}:, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will travel to New Delhi today and participate in a roadshow in the national capital tomorrow. He shared the information while speaking during the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
During his Delhi visit, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to hold discussions with teams and representatives from Europe, Japan and South Korea. According to Majhi, these international business and investment groups have expressed interest in investing in Odisha, opening up possibilities for new industrial and technological projects in the state.
The Chief Minister said the Odisha government is working to attract greater investment and strengthen the state’s position as an emerging industrial and technology destination. Talks with representatives from advanced economies are expected to focus on investment opportunities, industrial development, technology and employment generation.
A major area of focus is the semiconductor sector. The Odisha government is planning to develop the state as a semiconductor hub, with the aim of attracting investment in semiconductor manufacturing and related industries. The proposed expansion of the technology sector is expected to create new opportunities for skilled employment, industrial growth and the development of supporting infrastructure.
Majhi’s Delhi engagements are therefore expected to provide a platform for Odisha to showcase its investment potential and ongoing initiatives while seeking participation from international investors in emerging sectors.
