In addition to reopening the Dubuna mine, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate several key infrastructure and energy projects. These include a 920 kW peak solar power plant in the Barbil and Koida mining regions, which aims to promote clean and sustainable energy in the mining belt.
Furthermore, new electricity supply initiatives will be launched for the Tiringpahad mine and the Rengalabeda RR Colony. These projects are part of the state government’s broader efforts to ensure energy access and improve the quality of life in remote mining areas.
These developments reinforce the Odisha government’s commitment to sustainable mining, renewable energy adoption, and inclusive development across the state.
