Bhubaneswar, Sept 4 [UDN}:The Gopabandhu Health Insurance Scheme will not be merged with the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme. It has been clarified that the two schemes will remain separate, and the Gopabandhu Health Insurance Scheme will continue to function independently for the beneficiaries covered under it.
Journalists, as before, will continue to remain covered under the Gopabandhu Health Insurance Scheme. There will be no change in their existing inclusion or benefits under the scheme, and media professionals who are currently eligible will continue to receive health insurance coverage through the Gopabandhu Health Insurance Scheme.
The decision provides relief and clarity to journalists regarding their healthcare security and insurance benefits. The existing arrangement for their inclusion under the Gopabandhu Health Insurance Scheme will remain unchanged, ensuring that they continue to receive the benefits available under the scheme in the same manner as before.
