Odisha Government Extends Kharif Paddy Registration Deadline to September 7, Giving Farmers More Time to Complete Procurement Registration

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 31 [UDN}:The paddy registration period has been extended by seven days across Odisha.

Supply Minister Krushna Chandra Patra announced the extension.

The registration deadline was scheduled to end tomorrow.

The deadline was extended as many farmers were unable to complete their registration.

So far, more than 17 lakh farmers have registered.

Last year, 19.67 lakh farmers had registered.

Regarding network-related problems in some areas, discussions have been held with the technical team to resolve the issue.
