24th February 2025: The Odisha government plans to build a guest house in Ayodhya for pilgrims visiting the city. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi confirmed that the project will begin once the Uttar Pradesh government provides the land.
Majhi, along with his family, visited Ayodhya to offer prayers at the Triveni Sangam and seek blessings for the welfare of Odisha and the nation. The Mahakumbh Mela, which started on January 13, continues to attract millions of devotees and will conclude on February 26.
The event has also seen participation from leaders like Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, who have praised the strong arrangements made by the Uttar Pradesh government.
