On April 6, 2025, as part of the ongoing Odia Paksha 2025, Odisha launched a comprehensive Swachh Bharat Mission cleanliness drive across all 314 blocks of the state. This initiative focused on cleaning and beautifying key public spaces, such as village temples, ponds, schools, historical landmarks, and tourist destinations.

The event saw active participation from local representatives, Panchayat Raj members, development officers, volunteers, cleanliness officers, and senior district and block officials, alongside a large number of community members. The campaign was designed to foster greater awareness about cleanliness and encourage responsible practices among citizens to preserve the beauty and hygiene of their environment.
