Bhubaneswar, Sept 23 [UDN}:State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Fisheries and Animal Resources Development and MSME, Gokulananda Mallik, arrived in Jeypore on Sunday during his visit to Koraput district. He was received at the Jeypore Airport by the district administration and other officials.
During his visit, Minister Mallik is scheduled to review the implementation and progress of various developmental programmes being undertaken by the Fisheries, Animal Resources Development and MSME departments in the district. The review is expected to focus on the status of ongoing schemes, their implementation at the grassroots level and the benefits reaching eligible beneficiaries.
The Minister will also interact with beneficiaries and stakeholders to understand their experiences, discuss issues related to the implementation of government schemes and gather feedback on the requirements of the local community.
The Koraput district administration accorded a warm welcome to Minister Gokulananda Mallik upon his arrival at Jeypore Airport. His visit is expected to provide an opportunity to assess the progress of departmental initiatives in the district and discuss measures for further strengthening fisheries, livestock-related activities and micro, small and medium enterprises.
Officials of the concerned departments and the district administration are accompanying the Minister during his Koraput visit.
