27th May 2025: Odisha is set to play a pivotal role in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047, as emphasized by Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi during the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog. Highlighting the state’s commitment to national development, the Chief Minister stated that the government is preparing a comprehensive vision document aiming to transform Odisha into a $500 billion economy by 2036.

With a strong focus on industrialization, infrastructure development, and sustainable practices, Odisha is aligning its policies to support both state-level and national objectives.
