Bhubaneswar, April. 25: A severe heatwave has gripped the entire state of Odisha, with temperatures soaring across regions.
Jharsuguda recorded 44.6°C
Talcher recorded 43.5°C
Bhubaneswar recorded 41.2°C
Paralakhemundi recorded 40.8°C
Baripada recorded 40.6°C
From western to coastal, southern to northern parts, the state is reeling under intense heatwave conditions. In as many as 25 cities, temperatures have crossed the 40°C mark.
The scorching sun has made conditions extremely harsh, with people feeling as if fire is raining from the sky and the heat becoming unbearable.
