26th December 2024: The Odisha Research Conclave (ORC) 2024 will take place from December 26 to 28 at Fakir Mohan University in Balasore, organized in collaboration with the Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC). The event will be inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, along with State Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj and other notable dignitaries.
Over the course of three days, the conclave will feature technical sessions, roundtable discussions, and presentations on topics like research innovation in Odisha’s state universities, advancements in science and technology, and the role of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Additionally, the event will showcase a patent and product exhibition, along with poster sessions and cultural programs.
Fakir Mohan University will present its ongoing research initiatives, such as studies on horseshoe crabs and community outreach efforts, while experts from research institutes like IMMT and CIFA will share insights into the future of research and development.
