Rayagada, Aug 31 [UDN}:: An orientation programme was organised at Rayagada Higher Secondary School to welcome students newly admitted to the Plus Two classes and familiarise them with the school’s rules, regulations and academic environment.
School Principal Dr. Saraswati Ray addressed the newly admitted students and encouraged them to maintain discipline, attend classes regularly, remain focused on their studies and work with dedication towards building a bright future.
Academic Bursars Ramesh Huika and Dr. Lizarani Satapathy, Administrative Bursar T. Jyoti, and Lieutenant Uday Naik explained the teaching-learning system, school discipline, rules and regulations, students’ responsibilities and the qualities required for success in academic life.
Heads of various departments and other lecturers were also present. They advised students to attend classes regularly, be punctual, maintain discipline and follow school regulations. The teachers further encouraged the students to set clear goals and move forward with confidence.
The programme was organised under the supervision of Nitiminia Ka, who was in charge of Plus Two admissions. The orientation aimed to familiarise the new students with the school environment and develop a positive attitude towards education and discipline.
At the end of the programme, Lieutenant Uday Naik proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the Principal, bursars, heads of departments, faculty members and all the students.
