12th February 2025: As of February 2, over 2.05 crore farmer IDs have been created under the Digital Agriculture Mission, including 9,843 IDs in Odisha. The mission, aimed at establishing a robust digital agriculture ecosystem, ensures that all landholder farmers, including women and tenant farmers, are registered.
With a budget of ₹2,817 crore, the mission is focused on providing farmers with reliable crop-related information and innovative digital solutions. Key components include the creation of digital platforms like Agristack and the Krishi Decision Support System.
The mission has been implemented with support from the central and state governments, benefiting farmers across India by improving access to timely agricultural resources.
