Jharsuguda: July 7 {UDN}:To ensure the upcoming sacred Rath Yatra is conducted safely, smoothly, and in an orderly manner, the Brajrajnagar Municipality convened a preparatory meeting.
The meeting was attended by Municipal Chairperson Gopal Sitani, municipal councillors, officials from the police department, representatives of WATCO, TPWODL, MCL, and members of Rath Yatra committees from Main Market, Gandhi Chowk, Laikera, and Sanjob areas.
Key discussions focused on maintaining city cleanliness, ensuring an adequate supply of drinking water, repairing roads where necessary, strengthening electrical safety measures, managing traffic efficiently, and maintaining law and order during the festival.
The meeting concluded with a resolution directing all concerned departments to work in close coordination, complete all preparations within the stipulated timeframe, and give the highest priority to the safety, convenience, and well-being of devotees throughout the Rath Yatra celebrations.
