Bhubaneswar, Aug 3 (UDN): The Ganjam district administration has imposed a No-Flying Zone ahead of the President of India’s three-day visit to Odisha, as part of enhanced security arrangements.
The restrictions include a complete ban on drones, unmanned aircraft, paragliders, hot air balloons, and other aerial platforms along the President’s route from Brahmapur Railway Station to Taptapani, covering key areas on August 4 and 5.
The ban will also remain in force around the Taptapani Temple Complex, Army Air Defence College at Golabandha, and nearby areas. Authorities have warned of legal action against violations under applicable aviation and security laws.
During the visit, the President will inaugurate Jagadguru Kripalu University in Cuttack and later visit Taptapani temples and the Army Air Defence College as part of her official engagements in the state.
The administration has urged people and aerial device operators to strictly follow the restrictions and cooperate with security agencies to ensure a smooth and secure visit.
