Jeypore, 25th Sept 2025: The group assistants of the Mission Shakti Department held a public demonstration in front of the Jaypur Block office demanding a fixed salary instead of incentive payments.
The demands of the Mission Shakti group assistants include:
- Previous permanent salary
- Permanent appointment
- Provision of bank accounts for payments
- Payment of pending dues for 6 months
- Increment in salary based on work performance
- And several other demands.
The group assistants stated that if the government does not understand their plight, then the fund of one lakh rupees kept for “Lakshyapati Didi” (a welfare scheme or fund) will not be utilized properly.
They warned that without addressing their demands, the situation might not be resolved satisfactorily.
