Places such as water-filled containers, unused pots, discarded items, drains, and other areas where water remains accumulated can lead to a rapid increase in mosquito populations. These mosquitoes can spread dangerous diseases like dengue and other mosquito-borne infections, posing a serious health risk to individuals and communities.
Therefore, everyone should take necessary precautions to prevent water from collecting in residential areas and nearby surroundings. Regularly clean and dry water storage containers, remove waste materials that can hold rainwater, keep drains and surroundings clean, and ensure that no stagnant water remains for a long period.
By maintaining cleanliness and following preventive measures, we can reduce mosquito breeding and protect ourselves, our families, and our communities from diseases like dengue.
