Odisha Government Announces Landmark Move for Free Advanced Cancer Treatment, Offering Greater Relief and Better Healthcare Access to Patients

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 10 [UDN}:  In a major healthcare initiative, the Odisha Government has taken a revolutionary step to ensure improved and free treatment facilities for cancer patients.
Under the Mukhyamantri Cancer Care Abhiyan, 91 new treatment packages have been added to expand cancer care services. Now, patients can avail high-quality and advanced cancer treatment completely free of cost through Ayushman Bharat and Gopabandhu Health Cards.
The initiative aims to make modern cancer treatment more accessible, reduce the financial burden on patients and families, and strengthen cancer care facilities across the state.
