Bhubaneswar:July 5 {UDN}: The doctors’ protest in the state has been suspended. The decision was announced by the Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA) after a discussion with State Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling.
The association stated that it has decided to temporarily put the agitation on hold following the meeting with the minister. The government assured the representatives that their concerns would be addressed through continued dialogue. OMSA expressed hope that the discussions would lead to a constructive resolution and better outcomes for the medical fraternity. Healthcare services across the state are expected to gradually return to normal as the protest remains suspended.
