Kothar, June 1:: Singer Bhushan Rajkishore Nayak has been playing a significant role in preserving Odisha’s traditional folk art and Pala culture. A distinguished public figure and talented Pala singer from Brahmanpal village under Dhoosuri police station, the award-winning artist Bhushan Srinayak is widely recognized across the state as a devoted and accomplished exponent of classical drama and Pala performances.
Recently, during the Second Convocation and Felicitation Ceremony–2026 organized by the Dhoosuri Press Union, Nayak was honored with the “Anchalika Gayaka Gaurava Samman” (Regional Singer गौरव Award).
He has earned remarkable recognition not only in the fields of education and literature but also in the world of Pala art.
