Kotpad ,July 15 [UDN}:: Retired Subedar Dillip Kumar Bisoi from Dhamanahandi Panchayat under Kotpad Block was felicitated after successfully completing 30 years of dedicated service in the Indian Army and retiring from active duty.
To mark the occasion, a grand welcome and felicitation ceremony was organized, where villagers, friends, relatives, and well-wishers were invited to honor his remarkable contribution to the nation.
It is noteworthy that his younger brother, Sanjeeb Bisoi, is also serving in the Odisha Police and is currently posted at Borigumma Police Station.
The event was attended by former MLA Chandrasekhar Majhi, NAC Chairman M. Shankar Rao, Block Vice-Chairman Tapan Panigrahi, the local Sarpanch, Samiti members, M.D. Salim, Biren Bisoi, Ganesh Panda, Prashant Panda, Manoj Brahma, Umesh Brahma, and several other distinguished personalities.
The guests highly appreciated Dillip Kumar Bisoi’s three decades of dedicated service and his invaluable contribution to the nation during his tenure in the Army.
Speaking on the occasion, Dillip Kumar Bisoi stated that after retirement, he intends to actively participate in social and community service activities in the Kotpad region and dedicate himself to the welfare of society.
He also expressed his gratitude to all members of the Bharat Media Association and media personnel for their support and presence at the event.
