Revenue Minister Takes Stock of Flood Situation, Calls for Round-the-Clock Vigilance and Asks Citizens to Dial 112 for Any Flood-Related Emergency

Bhubaneswar,  July 30 UDN}:  The Odisha Revenue Minister has reviewed the prevailing flood situation and directed all concerned departments to remain on high alert for the next 24 hours. District administrations have been instructed to closely monitor water levels, strengthen rescue and relief operations, and ensure prompt assistance to people in affected areas.

Citizens have been advised to remain cautious, follow official advisories, and avoid venturing into floodwaters or other vulnerable locations unless absolutely necessary. Anyone facing flood-related emergencies or requiring immediate assistance has been urged to contact the 112 Emergency Helpline, which is available for rescue and emergency response. The government has assured that all necessary measures are being taken to protect lives and provide timely support to those affected by the floods.
