Malkangiri, Aug 28 [UDN}:The high-level meeting discussed in detail the measures being undertaken by various departments to make road transportation safer, smoother, and more disciplined. In particular, a special action plan was prepared to prevent the increasing number of road accidents on the National Highways and State Highways in the district.
Addressing the officials, the District Collector said that life is precious and the safety of every citizen is our top priority. He stressed the need for all departments to work in close coordination to bring the number of road accidents in the district down to zero and to create widespread awareness among the public about road safety.
