Bhubaneswar, July 18 [UDN}: A new rural employment initiative is set to be introduced alongside the existing MGNREGA scheme. Under the proposed system, eligible villagers will receive a new GRGC Card, which will guarantee 125 days of wage employment every year.
The initiative aims to strengthen livelihood security, create more job opportunities in rural areas, and enhance economic stability for village households. Once implemented, the scheme is expected to provide additional support to workers and improve employment access across villages.
