Dharmagarh, Sept 26 [UDN}:A delegation comprising Dharmagarh MLA Sudhir Ranjan Pattjoshi and office-bearers of the Dharmagarh Bar Association met me today and submitted a memorandum highlighting their demands concerning the strengthening of the judicial system in Dharmagarh.
The delegation included Bar Association President Bhavani Charan Das, Secretary Bhavani Shankar Panda, Vice-President Ashwini Kumar Panda, Joint Secretary Rikhiram Sagar, Treasurer Dhanindra Naik, along with other office-bearers.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the establishment of a Second Additional District and Sessions Judge (A.D.J.) Court at Dharmagarh and the provision of POCSO and Family Court jurisdiction at the local level.
The delegation emphasized the need to strengthen judicial infrastructure in the area and ensure that people have easier and faster access to essential legal services.
The government remains committed to strengthening the judicial system at the local level and ensuring that the people receive necessary legal facilities closer to their homes. The establishment of additional judicial institutions and expansion of their jurisdiction would further improve access to justice for residents of Dharmagarh and surrounding areas.
