Smartphones Distributed to 60 Anganwadi Workers in First Phase to Strengthen Service Delivery and Digital Monitoring Systems

Nabarangpur, June 19: {UDN}:  The Women and Child Development Department of Nandahandi Block organized a program to distribute smartphones to Anganwadi workers. In the first phase, 60 Anganwadi workers from the block were provided with mobile phones.

The program was attended by Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi and Nabarangpur MLA Gourishankar Majhi as chief guests, who distributed the mobile phones to the workers.

Among those present were Nandahandi Tahsildar Chandra Das Mahanandia, Additional Tahsildar Bishwajit Karkara, CDPO Sasmita Bala Mahanti, Jagadish Bishoyi, and Janakikanta Bishoyi.
According to official information, there are a total of 135 Anganwadi workers in Nandahandi Block. The remaining workers will receive mobile phones in phases in the coming days, the department informed.

After receiving the smartphones, the Anganwadi workers expressed their happiness and thanked the Odisha Government and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for the initiative.
In his address, MP Balabhadra Majhi praised the important role played by Anganwadi workers and encouraged them to continue their duties with greater dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm.
