Nayagarh: Sept 24 [UDN}:TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) is taking its awareness campaign on the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana to villages across Nayagarh district to encourage people to adopt rooftop solar power and understand its benefits.
As part of the initiative, TPCODL’s Solar Rath is visiting various Gram Panchayats in Khandapada block. Through the campaign, the company’s ‘Solar Sathi’ representatives are interacting with local residents and explaining the advantages of solar energy.
The awareness drive focuses on how households can adopt solar power, reduce their dependence on conventional electricity and potentially bring down their monthly electricity bills. Residents are also being informed about the PM Surya Ghar scheme and the benefits associated with installing rooftop solar systems.
Through its village-level outreach, TPCODL aims to improve public awareness about renewable energy and encourage more households to explore solar power as an economical and environmentally friendly source of electricity.
