Southern Odisha Strengthens Cyclone Arnab Preparedness with 6,500 Personnel on the Ground, 800 Project Staff Available and 400 More on Standby

Bhubaneswar,  Oct 28 [UDN}:   Our personnel have been deployed at various locations to deal with Cyclone Arnab. Around 6,500 employees have been stationed across eight districts of southern Odisha to carry out emergency operations. In addition, approximately 800 project personnel are available to support the response efforts.

Another 400 employees have been kept on standby to join operations immediately, should the need arise. Similarly, 16 transit stores and five main stores have been kept ready with essential materials and supplies to ensure prompt action during the emergency.
