Nabarangpur, Jan, 05: Nabarangpur SP Sandeep Sampat has been promoted to the rank of DIG (Deputy Inspector General). Mr. Sampat had assumed charge as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Nabarangpur district on June 10. Yesterday, an official notification from the State Home Department announced his promotion.
Mr. Sampat, an IPS officer of the 2012 batch, had previously served as SP of Nabarangpur after being transferred from Bhadrak. Despite his promotion, he continues to serve as the SP of Nabarangpur.
Following the announcement, District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain, Additional SP, SDPOs, DSPs, and various police station officers and constables have extended their congratulations and best wishes to him
