Bhubaneswar: Sept 4 [UDN}:The admission and enrolment process for IGNOU will continue until the 15th of this month. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will receive a 50% concession in the admission or enrolment fee.
The extension and continuation of the enrolment process are expected to provide an additional opportunity for eligible students who have not yet completed their registration. Interested candidates can take advantage of the remaining time to apply for admission to their preferred courses and programmes.
As part of the concession provided for socially disadvantaged sections, students belonging to the SC and ST categories will be required to pay only half of the prescribed enrolment fee, giving them significant financial relief and making higher education more accessible. Eligible applicants are advised to complete the necessary admission formalities and submit the required documents before the deadline of the 15th.
The initiative is expected to benefit a large number of students seeking admission through IGNOU and encourage greater participation in higher and distance education programmes.
