Balimela, Nov 25: The Science and Arts College of Balimela celebrated the 126th birth anniversary of Martyr Veer Lakshman Nayak with great enthusiasm. The event was presided over by Chairman Shri Subash Chandra Majhi and organized by the college.
Hundreds of students participated in the program. Shri Subash Chandra Majhi paid tribute to the martyr, while Shri Sunil Pujari, a history department lecturer, spoke about the contributions of Veer Lakshman Nayak and encouraged students to be inspired by his ideals.
The event was also attended by lecturers and faculty members including Shri Saroj Mahapatra, Purushottam Samarth, Manoranjan Ranjan Khamari, and Ranjita Topo, among others.
