Students Participate in “Aas Skul Jiba” Awareness Drive at Junapani

Nabarangpur, 19th Aug 2025:  The “Aas Skul Jiba” programme for the academic year 2025–26 was organized at Junapani Ashram School in Chandahandi block of Nabarangpur district, managed by the Welfare Department.

The event was held under the chairmanship of Headmaster Rimichan Chauhan. Chief Guest of the programme was Bhimasen Dangari, President of the “Mo School” Committee, while the Chief Speaker was Hem Majhi, Chairperson of the School Management Committee. Among the distinguished guests were Rajkumar Roti, social worker Pitambar Sori, teacher Prashant Kumar Nayak, Gaurishankar Dangari, teacher Bhanumati Maharana, School Management Committee members Bansidhar Majhi, Rajula Roti, Rai Singh Roti, Nrusingha Singal Puriya, former student Maheshwar Majhi, matron Deeptimayee Samal, and CCA Ganapati Majhi, among others.

During the programme, discussions were held on enrolling children from the village in school, reducing the dropout rate, re-admitting children who had left school midway, bringing them back into the mainstream of education, and spreading awareness among parents and guardians about the importance of education.

As part of the event, the students of the school took out a grand rally through the village, encouraging people to show interest in education and urging them to enroll their children in school.

Many parents of the students and villagers from the community also actively participated in today’s programme.
